Welcome to the Virginia Association of CALEA Accreditation Professionals (VACAP) website! VACAP is a nonprofit organization that has dedicated nearly 25 years to supporting agencies and mentoring Accreditation Managers and support personnel, assisting them in achieving and maintaining accreditation with their respective accreditation programs. Our organization comprises public safety professionals from across Virginia and the Washington Metropolitan area, representing agencies that have either attained or are pursuing accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc.
